Your alarm isn't a sound. It's the next verse.

Every morning begins with the Bismillah, then continues exactly where yesterday ended — verse after verse, until the whole Quran is behind you.

Stopping the alarm finishes the ayah. The recitation is never cut mid-verse.

The Qur'an Alarm ringing with a recitation

Most people who intend to read the whole Quran start at Al-Baqarah, stop somewhere in the third juz, and start again next Ramadan. The problem was never the intention. It was needing to find the time, and remember where you stopped.

Three steps

Set it once. It continues on its own.

There is nothing to plan and nothing to track. The alarm you already set every night does the work.

1

Set your alarm

The same time you wake anyway. Choose a reciter among renowned voices.

2

Wake to recitation

The ringtone is a real recitation, not a notification sound — and it plays offline.

3

Continue, or don't

Tap Continue the ayah to carry on in the app. Skip a morning and tomorrow simply resumes where you were.

Your khatma

A whole Quran, a few verses at a time.

The progress ring closes slowly around the entire Quran. It is the only counter in the app that matters, and it only ever moves forward.

  • Resume automatically where you left off, day after day.
  • A progress ring that closes around the whole Quran — your khatma.
  • Streaks and milestones, from your first dawn to your first complete reading.
  • Never lose your place, even after a week away.

Frequently asked

Good to know.

Does the alarm work offline?

Yes. The recitation plays from the device, so it rings whether or not there is a connection — which matters for an alarm more than for almost anything else.

What happens if I stop the alarm immediately?

The current ayah still finishes. A verse is never cut in the middle by pressing stop, which was a deliberate design decision.

Can I choose the reciter?

Yes, among renowned reciters. The voice you wake to matters, and it is worth spending a moment on that choice.

What if I miss several days?

Nothing is lost. The app resumes exactly at the verse where you stopped, whether that was yesterday or last month. A khatma has no deadline.

Which devices?

iPhone, on a recent version of iOS.

Tomorrow morning, start where you stopped.

One alarm, one ayah, and eventually the whole Quran behind you.
