Privacy policy

Your worship is yours alone

Qur'an Alarm collects nothing. No account, no tracking, no analytics. This page explains exactly what that means.

What we collect: nothing

Qur'an Alarm has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal information. We have no servers of our own — there is nothing for us to receive.

Everything stays on your device

Your alarms, your position in the Qur'an, your bookmarks, streaks, achievements, statistics and downloaded audio are stored only on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them. We never see them.

Audio and text content

Recitations and Qur'an text are fetched from the public AlQuran Cloud API and the Islamic Network CDN (alquran.cloud, islamic.network). Like any web request, their servers technically receive your IP address to deliver the files — a standard, unavoidable part of how the internet works. We send them nothing else, and no identifier links these requests to you inside the app.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details, name or address. Purchases can be managed or cancelled at any time in your App Store settings.

Notifications and alarms

Alarm and notification permissions are used solely to wake you with recitation and to tell you when an ayah is being completed. They are handled by iOS on your device.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. Since we collect no data at all, no data is collected from children either.

Changes and contact

If this policy ever changes, the update will be published on this page. Questions are welcome at contact@devpool.fr.
